Driven Motors ("Driven Motors", "we", "us") is an AMVIC-licensed automotive brokerage in Calgary, Alberta. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the vehicle form on this site, we collect:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• Vehicle details: type, year, make, model, odometer reading, overall condition, title status, and the price you are hoping for (optional)
• Anything else you choose to tell us by phone, email or text

Information collected automatically

• Standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and time on the site
• The advertising or referral source that brought you here, including click identifiers passed in the web address (for example Google Ads or Meta click IDs)
• Cookies and similar technologies used for analytics and advertising measurement

How we use it

• To value your vehicle and contact you with an offer, and to book a vehicle assessment
• To present your vehicle to dealers in our buying network so they can bid on it
• To complete a sale, including the paperwork and payment if you accept an offer
• To answer questions and provide customer service
• To measure which ads and pages bring in sellers, and to improve the website
• To meet our legal and AMVIC record-keeping obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing texts or emails unrelated to your vehicle enquiry.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed, with:

• Dealerships in our buying network in Canada and the United States. To gather offers we share the vehicle details. Your contact information is shared only when a sale proceeds and it is needed to complete the transaction.
• Service providers who run this site and our tools, including our website host, our form-submission provider, our spam-protection provider, our customer-relationship and messaging tools, and analytics and advertising platforms such as Google. These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
• Professional advisors, financial institutions and government or regulatory bodies, where required to complete a sale or to comply with the law.

Some of these providers store or process data in the United States, which means information may be subject to the laws of that country.

Cookies and advertising

This site uses cookies and tags from analytics and advertising platforms to understand how visitors find us and whether our ads work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop you from submitting a vehicle. You can also review Google's ad settings at myadcenter.google.com.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to serve you and for our own business records. Where a sale is completed, records are kept for the period required by Alberta's motor-vehicle and tax rules. You can ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.

Security

Information submitted through this site is sent over an encrypted connection and stored with reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to the people who need it to do their job.

Your choices and rights

Under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's PIPEDA, you can:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong
• Withdraw your consent and ask us to stop contacting you, subject to legal and contractual limits
• Ask us to delete information we are not required to retain

Children

This site is meant for adults selling a vehicle. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will post the updated policy here with a new date at the top.
